Indeed, Hendricks is set to make his return to the mound tonight, but will be on a strict pitch limit (I believe it’ll be roughly 75 pitches max), so let’s hope the offense can jump out to an early lead and the bullpen can preserve it from there. If he’s efficient, Hendricks can do A LOT with 75 pitches, as we’ve seen to the historic degree earlier this season, but I wouldn’t expect that tonight. Something around 4-5 innings of low-scoring baseball would be great and all you can ask for him in his first start back. Go Cubs.
