That’s a headline right there. But this is wild.
First thing first: yesterday, Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick absolutely trucked Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy at the plate, hitting him so hard in the head that it looked like Lucroy was knocked unconscious:
Marisnick indicated after the game that he was trying to go to the inside (even if that’s true, your baseball sense is about zero if you think your best shot at scoring is going INSIDE when the catcher is set up inside and the throw is coming from the right), and Lucroy got into his path.
But there are angles that sure look really bad:

Where things get particularly … unique, is that fellow catcher Yadier Molina took to Instagram to absolutely light up Marisnick, MLB, and anyone who responded to him, including Marisnick’s teammates:
Even Justin Verlander isn't safe from Yadier Molina. I can no longer wait for the Cardinals-Astros series later this month. pic.twitter.com/vpPuZ1yFPY

There are many, many more. I guess kudos to Molina for sticking to his guns? For keeping it entertaining? Yeah, mostly that one, I guess.
As we know all too well, Molina likes to be entertaining on Instagram.
