First thing first: yesterday, Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick absolutely trucked Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy at the plate, hitting him so hard in the head that it looked like Lucroy was knocked unconscious:
Marisnick indicated after the game that he was trying to go to the inside (even if that’s true, your baseball sense is about zero if you think your best shot at scoring is going INSIDE when the catcher is set up inside and the throw is coming from the right), and Lucroy got into his path.
But there are angles that sure look really bad:

Where things get particularly … unique, is that fellow catcher Yadier Molina took to Instagram to absolutely light up Marisnick, MLB, and anyone who responded to him, including Marisnick’s teammates:
