Well, I guess in response to that headline I’d say that each of Yu Darvish and Ian Happ have just had flat-out awesome seasons so far. But August is the biggest chunk of this weird year, so it’s still quite the compliment.
That compliment, specifically, is that each of the Cubs landed on MLB’s Team of the Month for August:

Impossible to argue with Darvish or Happ’s placement there, given that Darvish has been the best pitcher in the NL this season and Happ has consistently been a top five performer in the NL.
I won’t beef TOO much about any other Cubs, though I do want to point out that Jason Heyward hit .308/.432/.662 in August with a 185 wRC+. Mookie Betts was slightly better at .315/.407/.696 (191), but at least Heyward is in good company.
