Make Peace With Your Maker – Eric Sogard Just Took Shane Bieber Deep (VIDEO)

My headline joke is, perhaps, a bit too harsh, given that Eric Sogard has had a few homer-laden outbursts in his career, but they certainly haven’t shown up yet this year with the Cubs. I fear that the apocalypse is nigh.

Because the Cubs’ utility infielder, who came into the game with an .058 ISO, just took SHANE BIEBER deep with a no-doubt shot down the line to right:

To be sure, it would’ve been nicer to do this when he was up with the bases loaded, but beggars can’t be choosers. Sogard’s shot put the Cubs back up 2-1.
