Apologies on the very delayed EBS tonight. We had some family stuff going on today, and I knew my schedule was gonna be unpredictable. So I only loosely followed the game (good choice?), and only just now freed up to check back in. I watched the first inning, with Jake Arrieta once again having his early-game command woes, and that’s gonna be an issue going forward for a rotation that is already challenged (and Trevor Williams had an emergency appendectomy?!).
Not a lot to say about this one at the moment having missed it, but I suppose all streak come to an end eventually. In this case, the Cubs’ six-game winning streak (and their ability to keep scoring runs with a decimated offense).
