According to the Cubs Spring Training schedule, Cubs’ Cactus League games weren’t supposed to start until this Friday March 18. But according to their most recent release, they’ll actually kick off the Spring a day earlier, this Thursday, with a split-squad contest against the White Sox!

Those games will both be at 1:05 MT, and the one at Sloan Park will be broadcast on Marquee, which means we’ll be able to watch it.
That’s in just FOUR days! I wonder who’ll be on the team by then ….
After that, the Cubs will have 19 more Cactus League games, leading up to the April 7 regular season and home opener at Wrigley Field against the Milwaukee Brewers.
