Chicago Cubs outfield prospect Alexander Canario, acquired last summer in the Kris Bryant trade, is mostly known for the significant power in his bat. Fair enough, because if he winds up in the big leagues, that power is going to be key to getting him there.
But don’t sleep on the glove. Primarily a right fielder thanks to his big arm, Canario is also capable of playing center field, where he’s been splitting time at Double-A Tennessee.
And that’s where he made this incredible catch, which even drew praise from the other team:
Soto sac fly for the lead!

Thankfully, Canario was OK and able to stay in the game after that one. Those outfield doors can be dangerous, especially when they give way and you hit the corner like Canario did. What a catch.
