One of the fun things about the outfield at Wrigley Field is that, by the time you start to get reasonably deep, the stands come out to meet the foul line. That means the wall is, for some stretch, right up there against the foul line. It can make for some tough calls and even tougher plays, especially if you don’t know how to approach the wall.
But Ian Happ has been playing left field at Wrigley for quite some time now, and he knows how to read a fly ball off the bat, gauge the approaching wall, and time his jump to make a catch. He just showed it off with this REALLY impressive one:
