The Field of Dreams Game was a total success from where I was sitting, which happened to be my living room watching with my son. We didn’t have a catch, but we did enjoy the game together – at least until he crashed around the 8th inning.
The enjoyment wasn’t hurt by the fact that the Cubs took an early lead and held it throughout the game, of course.

The whole night was so well done, and I’m glad the Cubs will forever have gotten to participate in the Field of Dreams Game – who knows when it’ll be back, or what it’ll look like when it is.

Really the only rough patch was the hologram Harry Caray leading the stretch, which was – for me, at least – so off putting that it distracted completely from what otherwise could’ve been a nice moment:
