My brain is buzzing right now. My fists are pumping like it’s October. Maybe it’s stupid and maybe none of it will matter, but this is as high as I’ve been about a Cubs win in a very long time. That was incredible.
Set aside the fact that the Cubs came back from an early 2-0 hole. Set aside the fact that they were immediately in peril in the 9th inning before an incredible Nico-to-Dansby-to-Cody double-play got them to within an out of pulling off the win. Those things would’ve gotten special mention.

I absolutely lost my mind. That’s why it took me a minute to do even this short post. I was just losing it. I’m so pumped. So pumped.
