Pete Crow-Armstrong, the Cubs top prospect, has absolutely no shortage of defensive highlights. We all know this. But most of those highlights feature him diving across the outfield or running up and into walls. But he’s not a glove only center fielder. He also has an absolute cannon.
What a throw! The angle of the video isn’t perfect, but that looks like a one-hopper with perfect placement to get the runner, Devin Mann, at the plate. And don’t sleep on his effort there, either. PCA ranged WAY over to right field to corral that bouncer off the wall and get it in quickly. What an awesome play.
