The college basketball season is wrapping up this weekend which means March Madness is officially upon us! The arrival of March Madness begins with conference tournaments starting next week. If you’re wondering When is the Big Ten Tournament, this post has got you covered!

This year’s Big Ten Tournament takes place in Chicago, Illinois at the United Center. All 14 members of the Big Ten Conference will participate, and they will be seeded by conference record. Any identical records will be decided by tiebreakers already determined.

The Iowa Hawkeyes won last year’s Big Ten Tournament, and it was their 3rd time winning the event. The Michigan State Spartans have won the tournament 6 times, the most of any team.

When Is The Big Ten Tournament & How To Watch

First Round – Wednesday, March 8th – Big Ten Network

  • Game 1 (5:30 pm CT) – No. 13 Seed (Ohio State) vs No. 12 Seed
  • Game 2 (25 Minutes after Game 1) – No. 14 Seed (Minnesota) vs No. 11 Seed

Second Round – Thursday, March 9th – Big Ten Network

  • Game 3 (11:00 am CT) – No. 9 Seed vs No. 8 Seed
  • Game 4 (25 Minutes after Game 3) – Game 1 Winner vs No. 5 Seed
  • Game 5 (5:30 pm CT) – No. 10 Seed vs No. 7 Seed
  • Game 6 (25 Minutes after Game 5) – Game 2 Winner vs No. 6 Seed

Quarterfinals – Friday, March 10th – Big Ten Network

  • Game 7 (11:00 am CT) – Game 3 Winner vs No 1. Seed (Purdue)
  • Game 8 (25 Minutes after Game 7) – Game 4 Winner vs No. 4 Seed
  • Game 9 (5:30 pm CT) – Game 5 Winner vs No. 2 Seed
  • Game 10 (25 Minutes after Game 9) – Game 6 Winner vs No. 3 Seed

Semifinals – Saturday, March 11th – CBS/Paramount+

  • Game 11 (12:00 pm CT) – Game 7 Winner vs Game 8 Winner
  • Game 12 (25 Minutes after Game 11) – Game 9 Winner vs Game 10 Winner

Finals – Sunday, March 12th – CBS/Paramount+

  • Game 13 (2:30 pm CT) – Game 11 Winner vs Game 12 Winner
