Eagles Potential First-Round Targets
The Eagles need to add depth in the secondary and will likely target a cornerback in round 1. There are several solid cornerbacks in this draft class but several could go before number 22 overall. Cornerback Nate Wiggins from Clemson could be a solid fit for the Eagles.
If Philly wants to move up in the draft to be sure to score a top corner, they could be looking at Terrion Arnold from Alabama or Quinyon Mitchell from Toledo.

2023 Eagles Season Recap
In 2023, the Eagles started 10-1 and were looking like they were primed for another run to the Super Bowl. Then, the season came undone down the stretch as injuries and a string of tough losses had Philly stumbling into the playoffs at 11-6. In the Wild Card Round, they were hammered 32-9 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to end their season.
Jalen Hurts wasn’t as efficient as he was in 2022 as he threw 15 interceptions in 2023 and saw his QB rating drop from 101.5 to 89.1. Hurts still combined for 38 total touchdowns as he threw 23 and ran for 15 more. D’Andre Swift ran for over 1,000 yards in his first year with the team after being signed in free agency. AJ Brown went for over 1,400 yards receiving while DeVonta Smith also eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for an offense that was 8th in the league in total yards.
The issues for the Eagles came on defense in 2023 as the unit ranked 26th in total yards and 30th in points against. Heason Reddick was one of the bright spots as he recorded 11 sacks and earned a Pro Bowl selection. Darius Slay was also great in the secondary as he reached the Pro Bowl after recording 57 tackles, 14 pass deflections, and 2 interceptions.
