Yesterday, Elias took a stab at predicting the Bulls 2019 Summer Leauge roster, not anticipating a full release less than 24 hours later. Sorry, Eli! #BloggerLife can be tough sometimes.
As he wrote yesterday, the Summer League technically began on July 1 for some teams in Salt Lake City and Sacramento; however, the main event that will feature all 30 NBA teams, the Las Vegas Summer League, tips-off later this week on the 5th.
If you’re unfamiliar with how the league usually works and want a look at the Bulls upcoming schedule, make sure to check out our previous article where we walk you through all of that.
In the meantime, here’s the Bulls Summer League Roster, per their release:
Summer League Head Coach:Â Nate Loenser
Summer League Assistant Coaches:Â Roy Rogers, Dean Cooper, Karen Stack-Umlauf, Henry Domercant, Chris Kent, Martin Rancik, Ben Sanders
Since the announcement, K.C. Johnson has pointed out that Wendell Carter Jr., undergoing a “core muscle” procedure early next week, is not on the roster, and also casually drops a teeny, tiny, … TOTALLY TERRIFYING update on Coby White, who apparently tweaked his ankle:
Shaq Harrison on it. Wendell Carter Jr. is not. Will be curious to see how much Chandler Hutchison plays and whether Coby White, who I'm told tweaked an ankle that isn't believed to be serious, plays Friday. https://t.co/VXEsTaZmiu

The Chicago Bulls just drafted White, 19, two weeks ago, and given his age and lack of experience, the Summer League is/was going to be an important step for him. Let’s hope this “tweak” never becomes anything more than that and we see him as soon as this Friday.
