We’re not quite in full-on rumor-mode yet, which comes after the All-Star break. But with a few significant trades already in the books and the Fourth of July behind us, I think it’s fair to say something significant can happen at any given moment.
Heck, the Cubs traded for Jose Quintana on July 13th last season, which is just over a week away from today. I’d stay alert if I were you.
Deal just got announced. #Reds signed Floro as minor-league free agent last winter. Marinan was #Dodgers’ fourth-round pick in 2017 but received second-round money. CIN gains 40-man roster spot and has other young relievers (Peralta, Weiss, Brice, etc.) in fold. https://t.co/QQox6SZdQh

Hearing some chatter about a Cole Hamels possible reunion with phillies. It’s early, and unsure how serious the chatter is. But they love him. He loved it there (obvs) and has a home there so presumably he’d approve. Has control with no-trade list covering two-thirds the teams)
