Caleb Jones to Miss Six Weeks; Blackhawks Make Four Roster Moves

With less than a week until the puck drops on the regular season, the Chicago Blackhawks are starting to shape their roster by making four more moves this morning. But, unfortunately, they’re also dealing with some injuries, with the latest health setback coming from a strained wrist for defenseman Caleb Jones.

The Blackhawks believe that Jones’ wrist injury is expected to sideline him for approximately six weeks.

(Michael: At least it’s not Seth?)

Meanwhile, it’s just a maintenance day for Jonathan Toews, Jujhar Khaira, and Marc-André Fleury, who will not be practicing.

As for the roster moves, nothing too shocking:

The Blackhawks assigned Colton Dach and Nolan Allan to their junior teams and assigned Dimitri Ospipov and Evan Barratt to Rockford. The Blackhawks roster now stands at 32 players with 17 forwards, 11 defensemen, and four goaltenders.
