Finally! After 59 straight winless points-earning races, Ryan Blaney found victory lane in Charlotte at the Coca-Cola 600. Ironically, he did it at a race where he wasn’t considered a contender. Now we’re headed to World Wide Technology Raceway, or Gateway in short, for just the second time ever. Last year’s race was wild and 2023 has been one chaotic season. Enjoy Illinois 300 Odds
Although slightly larger, Gateway is and races similar to that of Phoenix, New Hampshire, and Richmond. The aforementioned Blaney ran really well here finishing 4th with his teammate and very skilled driver at those other tracks Joey Logano, winning the inaugural Enjoy Illinois 300. The class of the Penske garage both open at +1200 to reign victorious here once again.
At the two shorter flat-tracks of Phoenix and Richmond we’ve already run in 2023 however, Hendrick Motorsports has been quite dominant. The duo of William Byron and Kyle Larson have combined to lead 475 of the 717 laps (66%), while going on to split wins as well. To nobody’s suprise, they open as big favorites this week and are the only two drivers with odds shorter than 10-1. Check out the entire Enjoy Illinois 300 odds board below.
