If Nationals’ right-fielder Bryce Harper is known for anything on the field, it’s his offense. At just 24 years old, he’s already collected 123 Home Runs, four All-Star appearances, a Rookie of the Year award and some NL MVP honors.
Dude knows how to hit. Did you miss that he just hit his fifth Opening Day home run in five years? Just ridiculous.
But while he’s not quite a Gold Glove caliber right fielder, he’s not too much of a liability on defense either.
Check out the play he makes on a fly ball hit out to right without looking as the sun comes screaming down onto his face:

Yeah, that’s Bryce Harper catching a fly ball without looking.

Whether you call that luck or a talent, it’s impressive to watch. He gets himself into position and lets his instincts take care of the rest.
I mean, seriously, look how much he’s not looking at the ball:
Not bad, Bryce.

Harper is scheduled to be a free agent at just 26 years old, after the 2018 season. If he continues to play as well as he has been, he could be looking at a $300 million contract.
So if you want your team to make a run at him (Yes, please, Cubs), I’d start saving now.
