On top of being better at football than they had been in … ahem … a while, the Chicago Bears were entertaining as heck when Mic’d Up on the field last season. Their “best of” should raise your spirits on a gloomy Thursday.
Check it out:
Unlike prior seasons when finding highlights in a Mic’d Up segment would have been closer to pulling teeth than anything else, the 2018 season provided so many quotable moments from different players and games. Ahhhh, so many positive memories are flooding my mind. Every one is necessary as I rush to forget about how the season ended.
Which was your favorite? Mine might have been fullback Mike Burton hyping up Mitch Trubisky saying, “Good players play in these types of games, great players win these types of games.” WOO! That makes me want to go out and throw the pigskin around the yard.
We enjoyed Mic’d Up versions of Khalil Mack, Akiem Hicks, Danny Trevathan, Eddie Jackson, various Bears during Pro Bowl week and at the game itself. Heck, it was even great in the preseason. And if you believe greatness starts at the top, then Mic’d Up Matt Nagy is everything you need.
When a season ends like it did for the Bears, the best way to close the books on it is by taking one last look at the fun you had along the way. A season-long look at Mic’d Up provided a necessary palate cleanser as we go all-in on the 2019 offseason. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
