If the Chicago Bears defense is going to hold it down and take home a win, they’ll do it without one of their starting defensive linemen:
#Bears injury update:
DT Bilal Nichols (hand, out)— Chicago Bears (@BearsPR) September 15, 2019
Defensive lineman Bilal Nichols has been ruled out for the rest of this afternoon’s Bears-Broncos game with a hand injury. It seems pretty serious that Nichols will not return for the rest of Sunday, but we will continue to monitor the situation for further updates.
In the meantime, Roy Robertson-Harris stands to take a bunch of the a load of the snaps left behind by Nichols’ absence. But all things considered, I’d prefer the Bears defense at full strength.
