Chase Daniel and Mitch Trubisky won’t be the only Bears quarterbacks across taking the trip across the ocean.
Expect #Bears to make roster move promoting QB Tyler Bray from the practice squad to the 53-man roster soon, definitely before 3 pm Saturday deadline.

Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports the Bears are expected to promote Tyler Bray to the 53-man roster for Sunday’s game against the Raiders. That the Bears have not called up Bray already comes as a bit of a surprise, but the team does not have to make the move official until 3 PM CT on Saturday. Presumably, Bray is already with the team. Otherwise, that’s going to be a loooooooong trip.
This means the Bears will have to waive someone currently on the 53-man roster to make room to bring on Bray. But I suppose we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. In the meantime, Bears fans worried about Trey Burton, Tarik Cohen, or Cordarrelle Patterson being pressed into emergency quarterbacking duties can breathe easy. Reinforcements are coming.
