Jaylon Johnson is a gamer. Which means that, if he can give it a go, he’ll do so.
But even after warming up with a pre-game workout before the Bears-Vikings game, Johnson isn’t quite ready just yet. Chicago’s top cornerback is INACTIVE for Sunday’s game in Minnesota. Sorry, friends. The Bears will be without their top cornerback today, which is sub-optimal when you consider the problems a Justin Jefferson-Adam Thielen tag team can present on any given play. But, hey, at least CB1 got a workout in:
Perhaps it is feasible that Johnson could return for Thursday Night Football at Soldier Field against the Commanders. If he does, he’ll be faced with the challenge of sticking with Terry McLaurin. There are no Sundays off for the modern NFL cornerback.
As for the list of inactive, here we go:
David Montgomery IS active. Woo hoo!
