After coming to terms with former Raiders running back Josh Jacobs earlier, the Packers are parting ways with Aaron Jones. Neither Jones nor A.J. Dillon will return to Green Bay. Jones is a three-time 1,000-yard rusher who was due $12 million this season. Now he’s a free agent at 29.

Former Dolphins LB Andrew Van Ginkel agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the Vikings for $20 million, including $14 million guaranteed. Agents Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha confirmed the deal.

Saquon Barkley is signing with the Eagles

Former Giants RB Saquon Barkley reached an agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles on a three-year, $37.75 million contract that could be worth up to $46.75M and includes $26M fully guaranteed at signing (Adam Schefter).

Rams add tight end Colby Parkinson and guard Jonah Jackson

The Rams are adding former Seahawks tight end Colby Parkinson on a three-year deal worth $22.5 million that includes $15.5 million in guaranteed money.

The Rams also shelled out big bucks on the offensive line, inking former Lions guard Jonah Jackson to a three-year, $51 million deal.

Panthers have informed Vonn Bell that he will be released

Carolina signed Bell to a three-year, $22.5M deal with $13 million guaranteed last offseason. Bell, 29, logged 69 tackles and one interception with the Panthers in 2023.

The Titans are signing center Lloyd Cushenberry

The Titans are doing some spending early. After inking running back Tony Pollard, Tennessee is reportedly signing center Lloyd Cushenberry, according to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones. No financials are available yet, but Cushenberry was the top center on the market.

Christian Wilkins is heading to Las Vegas

Former Dolphins DT Christian Wilkins is signing a 4-year, $110 million base value deal that includes $84.75M million guaranteed with the Raiders.

Gabe Davis is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, wide receiver Gabe Davis has agreed to a three-year deal with the Jaguars after spending four years in Buffalo. Davis’ deal is worth $39 million with a chance to get to $50 million.

This move likely means that Calvin Ridley will be leaving the Jaguars after the 2023 season. If Calvin Ridley does move on, Christian Kirk, Zay Jones, and Davis will likely be at the top of the Jags’ wide receiver depth chart. With Davis signing, the top of the wide receiver free agent class includes Ridley, Darnell Mooney, Tyler Boyd, Marquise Brown, and Curtis Samuel.

Jonathan Greenard is heading to Minnesota

Greenard excelled in his contract year under DeMeco Ryans and the coaching staff, showcasing his versatility as a pass-rusher and run defender. His impressive 9.3% run-stop rate ranks eighth among edge defenders. Greenard’s quick first step, diagnostic abilities, and adeptness at setting the edge helped him succeed against the run. His athleticism allowed him to generate pressure through cleanup and pursuit efforts, demonstrating a relentless work ethic.

Now Greenard heads to Minnesota on a four-year, $76 million deal. That paves the way for Danielle Hunter to cash in somewhere else this week.

David Bakhtiari’s time in Green Bay is over

The long-time Packers offensive lineman announced on social media that his time in Green Bay has come to an end.

Tony Pollard is Signing with the Titans

There is a significant change happening in the Tennessee Titans running back lineup.

According to a source cited by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, the Titans are finalizing a three-year, $24 million contract with former Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard. KPRC-TV in Houston first reported the news.

More on the Swift signing from Luis:

Michael Pittman Jr. and the Colts come to terms on an extension

Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has requested a trade

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has requested a trade.

The Bengals placed the franchise tag on Higgins last weekend after the two sides failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension. According to Schefter, “Higgins loves Cincinnati and hoped to be with the team long term, but is disappointed that the team has not had any talks about a long-term contract extension since March 2023. He’s ready to move on to a new home.”

This makes one of the best wide receivers in football potentially available via trade. However, Bengals GM Duke Tobin balked at the idea that the Bengals would trade Higgins at least year’s NFL Scouting Combine.

“I’m not in the business of making other teams better,” Tobin said at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine. “I’m in the business of making the Cincinnati Bengals better. So trading Tee Higgins is not on my mind That’s their problem, they want a receiver, they can go find their own. In my opinion, Tee is a good piece for the Cincinnati Bengals, so the trade stuff is a little ridiculous.”

If the Bengals do have a change of heart this time around, the Chicago Bears should be on the phone with Cincinnati. Pairing Higgins with D.J. Moore would be a dream scenario for whoever ends up being the Bears quarterback in 2024.

Russell Wilson plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers when the new league year opens

Russell Wilson is embarking on a new journey, this time clad in the black and gold of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The esteemed nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback is slated to ink a deal with the Steelers as the new league year kicks off on March 13, as reported by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport on Sunday night. The agreement will see Pittsburgh shell out $1.2 million for Wilson’s services in 2024.

Wilson wasted no time in sharing a hype video on social media to express his excitement for his 13th NFL season, which he will spend donning the Steelers jersey.

Wilson swiftly delved into free agency proceedings after his release from the Broncos on March 4. With permission to engage with potential suitors, he made Pittsburgh his inaugural destination, meeting with the Steelers on Friday.

The discussions proved fruitful, resulting in a win-win scenario for both parties. The Steelers secure a remarkable deal for one of the most impactful quarterbacks available in this year’s free agency market. At the same time, Wilson gains an opportunity to further his career with a new team.

Thanks to the Broncos covering most of the $39 million owed to Wilson for the upcoming season, the quarterback’s move to the Steelers comes at a relatively low cost, facilitating Pittsburgh’s ability to assemble a competitive roster around him.
