Earlier today, it was reported that the NHL would be bringing back the Taxi Squad and other measures to expand rosters to deal with the COVID outbreak. The new changes will be in place through, at least, the NHL All-Star Break.
The Blackhawks and Blue Jackets game was one of three added to the growing list of postponed games this season. Along with the Tuesday night game, the NHL also postponed Tuesday night’s game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as Wednesday night’s game between the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators. This now makes four games for the Blackhawks to be postponed in the month of December, all four of them being home games.
