Jonathan Toews Returns to the Blackhawks Morning Skate

Chicago Blackhawks

Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews hasn’t played since Jan. 28, and hasn’t been seen at practices really since then. But a positive update earlier this week from head coach Luke Richardson opened the door for some optimism that he could see game action again this season.

Then came Tuesday morning, when a smiling, chirping No. 19 joined his teammates on the ice for the morning skate. He appeared to be in a great mood. Toews took rushes and talked shop with teammates and coaches.

Hopefully we’ll see him back on the ice in a game before the end of the season.
