On Saturday morning, the NHL named the finalists for the Selke Trophy. Alexsander Barkov of the Panthers, Auston Matthews of the Maple Leafs, and Jordan Staal of the Hurricanes are the three finalists for the award.
First awarded in 1977-78, the Frank J. Selke Trophy is presented annually “to the forward who best excels in the defensive aspects of the game.”
