The Bulls Are Back and Hyped Hype with a Hype and a Hype and Other Bulls Bullets

I’M SO EXCITED, LET’S JUST DO THESE BULLETS! AHHHHHH!!!

  • I WANT TO DO THIS ENTIRE THING IN ALL CAPS, BUT … I will not. Make sure you just read everything in a “ready to run through four brick walls” kind of tone. Tonight we officially start the Bulls journey back to the playoffs, and it couldn’t start in a better way. After an encouraging preseason where we saw three-pointers galore, fast ball movement, and unselfish basketball, the Bulls will take on two of the league’s (projected) worst teams! Our weekly preview is out now, so take a look if you need to familiarize yourself with any of the upcoming opponents!
  • Look at these young lads! I don’t know about you, but those three guys sure do look ready to go swat some Hornets.
  • ICYMI: The NBA announced team physicians must measure all players in training camp to report proper height. Ignoring the major question I have about why this is just now happening, we’re seeing a lot of players shrink. NBC Sports Chicago outlined all the proper measurements for each player on the Bulls, so check it out. Also, spoiler Alert: Somehow Shaq Harrison grew three inches.
  •  Let’s say you’re completely new to the Bulls and finally deciding to hop on the basketball bandwagon. Odd timing, but better late than never! Bulls dot com beat reporter Sam Smith gave us a brief introduction for each of the players on the Bulls roster. Go educate yourself before tonight (you can also read more BN Bulls content).
  • All right, someone has to score at least 34 points tonight, who you got? My money’s on Luke Kornet, duh.
  • K.C. Johnson called the Bulls sexy in this video. What more do you need?
  • Also, stop bringing me back down to reality, K.C.! Let me bask in this optimistic pre-game state of imagination where Coby White drops 10 three-pointers and every other bucket comes via a posterizing Zach LaVine alley-oop!! AHHH, I CAN’T WAIT. Sorry, I said I’d stop with the caps.
  • Will Perdue’s making me feel bad about myself. I can’t check any of those boxes.
  • The Chicago Tribune has its Top-5 storylines to watch for this season. Do you agree?
  • Bleacher Report ranked its Top-100 players, so here’s who landed on the list: Otto Porter (53), Zach LaVine (66), Lauri Markkanen (72), Thaddeus Young (93). Tomas Satoransky was listed as a snub and Wendell Carter Jr. fell into the “Top-100 watch list” category. Usually, we would go more in-depth on this, but I’m going to step back because the season literally just started and all of this can change in a heartbeat now.
  • Yesterday, the Bulls signed former DePaul standout Max Strus to their final two-way contract. He’ll be a very intriguing talent to keep an eye on in the G-League.
  • Remember this? Yeah, more of it tonight, please.

  • I think the more important question is, are you ready?
