What to Watch For …
• It’s a big night for Thaddeus Young. The Chicago Bulls forward will play his 1000 career game, joining a prestigious club of just nine active players who have previously met that mark.

• The Bulls will miss both DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge in this matchup, but that doesn’t mean this Spurs team can’t kick their ass. San Antonio’s backcourt is centered around two up-and-coming guards who can read the floor and take great care of the basketball. Then, off the bench, they have the savvy and efficient shooting Patty Mills. The Spurs just aren’t going to handout extra possession, and they will take advantage of any the Bulls hand them, so we’ll need a locked-in performance from the Bulls guards on both ends tonight.
• Lauri Markkanen has looked extremely solid since his return from injury, but I’d love to see him have an even bigger performance in the paint. He has taken at least nine 3-pointers in the last three games, and while I know he is finishing them at a 41.2 percent clip this season, it’d be nice to see him prioritize shots at the rim a little more. Last night, was a good start with his monster dunk and seven free-throw attempts, so let’s see if he can carry that into tonight.

And Donovan on Young, on the court: "When he catches the ball, he’s always under control. And he is never rattled and he’s never in a hurry. And he knows where everybody is at. And he takes his time and he’s patient. That allows him to see things and make those kind of passes."
