If you were watching the Bulls Summer League finale against the Philadelphia 76ers, you probably had to pick your heart up off the floor after it dropped when first-rounder Dalen Terry came up limping after a non-contact injury that appeared to be near his right knee.
Thankfully for Terry (and all of us?), the Bulls are reporting that the injury is to the hamstring, not the knee. Terry has been ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Sixers.
We’re not sure yet the extent of the injury, and I’m no doctor, but I feel much better knowing this is a hamstring issue and not a knee issue. We’ll see if and when additional information comes in the days and weeks ahead, but hopefully it is nothing more than a mild hamstring injury that Terry can rest up, and still be ready in time for training camp.
