The Chicago Bulls brand is as strong as ever.
ESPN’s Nick DePaula recently unveiled the top-selling NBA gear of the offseason for sports retailer Lids. Not only did the Chicago Bulls finish as the leading seller in 28 states, but they claimed three of the top 10 most-bought jerseys. Lids has 2,000+ stores nationwide.
To no surprise, the retro look reigned supreme. Scottie Pippen sold the 2nd-most jerseys behind only LeBron James, while Michael Jordan came in 5th and Dennis Rodman 10th.
Lids’ sales might not tell us the whole story, but it’s still a good reminder of just how much weight the team’s dynasty continues to hold. We saw similar results back in February when Chicago led merch sales in eight states during the NBA season. Then, in April, the NBA also shared that the Bulls sold the fourth-most team merchandise.
