What to Watch For…
Well, the Bulls are going up against a superstar squad in the Warriors, even if they are underachieving this season. Does that mean we’ll get the focused Bulls effort that has been there against top competition this season? While the Warriors have been meh this season, they showed Friday they still have that next gear dropping 144 points on San Antonio. Hopefully, we get the best version of the Bulls (DeMar included) and 48 minutes of intensity. When the Bulls do the little things right like box out defensively and move the ball on offense they can play with anyone, but when they don’t, well, Washington & Oklahoma City happen.
In the last two losses, the Bulls have allowed 12 offensive rebounds each to the Wizards and Thunder. That’s more than both teams are averaging this season. The Warriors are a league-average team on the offensive glass this season (10.1 ORPG per game). Let’s keep them under that total. Ready, break.
The Warriors are averaging 16.7 turnovers per game behind only the Rockets for the most in the NBA this season. Let’s see the Bulls exploit that weakness.
