Chicago Cubs GM Jed Hoyer revealed this afternoon that two Cubs staff members previously tested positive for COVID-19, and will therefore have their arrival to Summer Camp delayed. No players have yet tested positive, but those results are mostly all still ahead.
Those test results were based on tests at home, not results of testing in Chicago by the team. Results not in yet for the early tests.

Hopefully the staff members are doing well, as are their families. It’s the ever-present reminder of what’s going on in the world right now, and no team will be unaffected. You just have to hope they find a way to proceed safely.
More from Hoyer soon, though I’ll point out that he mentioned that no players on the 60-man roster have yet discussed with the team an intention to opt out of this season. If they do, however, the organization – and the fans – will be supportive.
