The Chicago Cubs Threw a Homer Party in Los Angeles – Enjoy the Highlights

I’m not saying any win over the Los Angeles Dodgers is worthy of particular celebration, but it’s definitely a great thing when it happens!

More than the general desirability of this year’s Cubs beating a good team like the Dodgers in their house, last night’s game had some particulars to it that made the win all the more enjoyable. Seiya Suzuki returned to the Cubs after missing the first 11 games of the season. Cody Bellinger was making his return to Los Angeles. The positive energy from the Mariners series and the Ian Happ extension was lingering. It was just a very good night to get a win. A convincing win at that!

If you missed any of it or just want to re-watch the highlights, I figured I’d share. You had homers from Seiya Suzuki, Ian Happ, Patrick Wisdom, and Yan Gomes (x2). You had Justin Steele looking awesome for 7.0 innings. Great win for the Cubs, who are now 7-5 on the young season.
