If you’re of a certain age you probably have a bit of a nostalgic feeling for playoff games between the Cowboys and 49ers. It was the premier football rivalry of the 90s, but the rivalry was dormant until they met last year in the Wild Card round with the 49ers prevailing 23-17. The old rivals renew hostilities on Sunday in a game with a lot of narrative-shifting storylines. And, oh by the way, the winner advances to the NFC Championship. We’ve put together a Same Game Parlay to give you another reason to get really invested in what should be an awesome game.

Cowboys-49ers Same Game Parlay
- Over 46.5 (-108)
- Tony Pollard 50+ alt rush yards (+110)
- Ezekiel Elliott Anytime Touchdown (+150)
- Deebo Samuel Anytime Touchdown (+135)
Same Game Parlay Odds: +1423
Over 46.5 (-108)
There’s been some back-and-forth with the total here fluctuating between 45.5 and 46.5. These are two defenses that have performed very well this season with San Francisco and Dallas ranking first and second respectively in defensive DVOA. So why the over? The 49ers secondary looked really vulnerable for a good chunk of the game against the Seahawks and if Dak Prescott can replicate some of what he was able to do against the Buccaneers, Dallas should be able to move the ball through the air. It’s fair to wonder how Brock Purdy will fare playing against the best defense he’s faced thus far in his young career, but he has an amazing cast of skill position players around him and there’s nobody better at offensive game planning than Kyle Shanahan. Shanahan probably has a little extra juice for this game facing Cowboys Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn, for whom Shanahan worked under in Atlanta for two seasons.
Tony Pollard 50+ alt rush yards (+110), Ezekiel Elliott Anytime Touchdown (+150)
The Cowboys ability to hang around in this game may rely on the distribution of carries between Pollard and Elliott. You can use stats or the eye test to surmise that Pollard is a better running back at this point than Elliott is, but Jerry Jones can’t quit Zeke and so Elliott still gets his lion’s share of the carries. Pollard has gone for over 50 yards nine times this season and the run game could be instrumental in keeping the 49ers defense off balance. While Pollard should be the one getting the bulk of the work here, Zeke still remains the goalline back. Seven of Elliott’s 12 rushing touchdowns this season have been one-yard touchdown runs. If the Cowboys get close, Zeke gets the ball.
Deebo Samuel Anytime Touchdown (+140)
We’re betting the over here so it felt right to take a 49ers player to score a touchdown too and since Christian McCaffrey is a pricey -160 to score, we’re going to go with Deebo here. The Cowboys are fourth in the NFL in pressure percentage generating pressure on 27.6 percent of drop backs. With a rookie quarterback who took over late in the season at the helm you’d have to assume the 49ers are going to want to get the ball out quick. There are few players in the NFL better at making something happen in space than Deebo Samuel so expect him to be a big part of the game plan on Sunday.
