Alex DeBrincat Anytime Goal (+134) & 1st Goal (+1000)
I figured if I’m going to bet DeBrincat to score, why not sprinkle a bit on the first goal-scorer prop as well? DeBrincat was of course traded to Ottawa from the Blackhawks this summer. With the Hawks coming into town, DeBrincat will likely relish the chance at a little revenge.
DeBrincat got off to a slower start than he’d have liked, but is heating up with 3 goals in his last 5 games. The Blackhawks have a bottom-10 PK in the NHL at 76.1%. That PK gets even worse on the road at just 72%.
DeBrincat thrives on the Power Play with one of the better shots in the game today. 7 of his 18 goals this year have come on the man advantage. Let’s roll the dice with The Cat.
Artemi Panarin Anytime Goal (+205)
The Rangers visit the Oilers tonight in what I think is the most exciting matchup of the night. The Rangers are 6-0-1 in their last 7 games and are even more dangerous after the addition of Vlad Tarasenko. Panarin is also red-hot with a whopping 6 goals in his last 2 games and 15 points in this 7-game stretch.
At +205, Panarin only has the 7th best odds to score a goal tonight. He’s much too talented of a player and playing much too well right now to pass that up.
The Oilers also aren’t the most defensively sound team allowing 3.22 Goals per Game. Edmonton has also allowed 7 more goals at home this season despite only having played one more game on home ice. I love banking on the Breadman tonight at over 2/1 odds to score.
