Even though recent reports suggest Eddie Goldman will report to training camp on time, there have been questions regarding his future with the Bears.
Perhaps this will ease some of those concerns:

Chicago’s top nose tackle is working out locally in suburban Vernon Hills at SPEAR Training. If you’ll recall, that was the same place Mitchell Trubisky was working out at last offseason when he was preparing after getting clearance to work out after his offseason shoulder surgery. So if you’re curious as to why SPEAR Training rings a bell, that’s probably it. But more important than that is (1) Goldman is putting in some summertime training and (2) doing so in the shadow of Halas Hall.
For what it’s worth, Google Maps has SPEAR Training as being just a 16-minute drive to Halas Hall. To be clear, I don’t want to draw too firm of a conclusion here. HOWEVER, it’s easy to connect some dots and feel better about Goldman’s chances to be back in 2021 when comparing it to recent days when there was concern that retirement was something of a real possibility.
Elsewhere on the workout grid, QB1-of-the-future Justin Fields was spotted working out with some of his fellow footballers who fall under the representation of super agent David Mulugheta:

Spotted in videos here and elsewhere are Jordan Love and Deshaun Watson. Hopefully, that Green Bay stench doesn’t come back to Chicago with Fields. At the same time, this feels like a good time for Fields to assert himself as the alpha among the young gunslingers in the NFC North.
Training camp opens in 19 days. Registration to see one of the Bears’ 14 practices that will be open to the public has already begun. And the workout videos continue to roll in. Keep ‘em coming, guys. The offseason is *almost* over.
