WOW: DeMar DeRozan Just Dropped His Playoff Career-High to Tie the Series!

DeMar DeRozan said there was “no way in hell” he would shoot 6-25 again after Game 1. And he couldn’t have been more right.

The Chicago Bulls All-Star continued arguably the best season of his NBA career with a ridiculous 41-point performance in Game 2 against the Milwaukee Bucks. The effort meant a playoff career-high for the 32-year-old, and it also meant a 1-1 series tie heading back to Chicago.

DeRozan’s night was filled with jaw-dropping bucket after jaw-dropping bucket, especially down the stretch. As the Bucks made their inevitable comeback push after the Bulls walked into the locker room with a 63-49 lead, DeRozan went on to drop 13 points in the 4th quarter to keep the Bulls in the driver’s seat. Two of these buckets came on consecutive possessions where he attacked Defensive Player of the Year and 2x MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo off the dribble. In true cold-blooded fashion, he drained the midrange jumper with ease.

Then, with 18.9 seconds left on the clock and the Bucks within 3 points, DeRozan went right after the MVP candidate again to ice the game!

LOOK AT HOW CLUTCH THIS IS!

Of course, DeRozan’s teammates deserve a ton of credit for their role in tonight’s massive win, but the Bulls don’t walk out of Milwaukee with a tied series without this man going ballistic.

What an awesome performance, and what a potentially crazy series we could have on our hands! See ya in Chicago!
