Javy Baez Just Hit an INSIDE-THE-PARK HOME RUN! (VIDEO)

Javy Baez is so much fun. He’s also good at baseball, which makes the fun-ness all the more appreciated.

He couldn’t do what he did tonight without a little bit of both, as he sent a monstrous blast out the opposite way … except AT&T Park is a cavern out that way, and it held Baez’s 398 foot, 107 mph blast.

But Javy turned it into a home run anyway (via @Cubs):

The best part? Baez was pimping that thing out of the box, because he knew he crushed it. Haha. Except, um, then he had to turn on the jets. And it was *really* close at the plate.

All’s well that ends well, right?

And for the record, I’m not sure that thing was only 398 feet. It basically bounced right at the 421 foot marker. I’m gonna call it 550 feet, just to be safe.

It’s the first Cubs inside-the-park homer since, well, last year actually – remember when Anthony Rizzo did this?

Cody Bellinger *AND* Seiya Suzuki Might Be Back VERY Soon
