Mitch Trubisky FINALLY pulled even with punter Pat O’Donnell touchdown passes this season.

With the Chicago Bears trailing 17-9, rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky uncorked his first touchdown pass, a 20-yard strike to tight end Zach Miller. Trubisky, who struggled in the second and third quarters after starting strong in the first, used his mobility to create time and space to throw one into the end zone. I dug that part, but not so much the part where it was almost intercepted.
Instead, it landed safely into Miller’s hands for Trubisky’s first regular season touchdown throw.
Not to be outdone, offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains called on a play that had been seen only by anyone who attended the Bears’ final public training camp practice at Bourbonnais:
