The first impressions of my new mattress are good, though I’m curious if I feel this way because I spent the night before sleeping on a couch. I suppose it’ll take some time before I break it in and get fully comfortable. Here’s hoping it happens soon, as I have sleep to catch up on.

For a team that hasn't provided too many great times in recent years, I have plenty of fond memories from Bourbonnais.
It's the place where my uncle took us to get geeked up about guys we've never heard of from schools we weren't sure even existed.

Most notably, it was where I met a lot of you good folks. We bonded while watching D run circles around Mike Glennon. We connected while dreaming big dreams for 2018 despite having nothing more than hope. We mapped out SB 54 plans & dissected kickers like nobody's business.

And yes, I realize there's gonna be some "dooooon't caaaare" from some fans. I just know that there were enough people who cared enough to drive to Bourbonnais from various cities and towns from Illinois (and other states) just to watch the Bears practice. Clearly, someone cares.

Hearing the news about us leaving Bourbonnais had me looking through old pics. This one caught my attention. Thank you Bourbonnais… for the good times pic.twitter.com/KIWfJgSNNk
