Conference to Win March Madness

The Big East has Marquette, UConn, and Creighton still alive but will one of these teams win March Madness? Take a look at the odds for each conference to have the national champion.

The Big Ten hasn’t won a national title since Tom Izzo and Michigan State beat Florida 89-76 back in 2000. Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Illinois have reached the final since 2000 but none have been able to win.

The Big 12, Big East, and ACC have been at the top of college basketball with a team from one of these conferences winning the title every year since 2013.

UConn Tournament Recap

The Connecticut Huskies have been cruising so far and find themselves in the Elite Eight with a matchup vs Illinois set for tomorrow. The Huskies bet Stetson 91-52 in the first round before taking down Northwestern 75-58 in the second round.

Last night, the Huskies had another impressive win with a 30-point rout of San Diego State in a rematch of last year’s national title game. The Huskies have continued to show great depth with Donovan Clingan, Tristen Newton, and Cam Spencer all taking the reigns and leading the team in the scoring during the NCAA Tournament. The question remains, can they win March Madness?
