2024 Myrtle Beach Classic Odds: Best Bets
Check out the bets one of our resident Betsperts Golf experts is betting from the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
Davis Thompson +3000 (DraftKings)
Thompson has a bunch of nice finishes in or near the top 20 this year and is currently in form (relative to this field). He did MC last time out but has performed well in tournaments like this with second-tier fields. The putting can be an issue at times, but this should be one of his better surfaces, and with a wide-open field here, to go along with zero course history, I’ll be taking shots further down the board as well. But I like Thompson as someone who can outclass the rest here in Myrtle Beach.
Victor Perez Top 20 +120 (DraftKings)
Perez has some nice results in March on a couple of southeast/island courses this season finishing 16th at the Cognizant and 3rd in Puerto Rico! His short game can be inconsistent at times but his ball striking has been steadily improving this season and he’s another golfer with good enough approach numbers to score on these large greens. I have him modeled with a fairly high floor and expect him to compete this weekend.
