What to Watch For …
Shooting 60.2 percent from the field again tonight isn’t going to be easy. The Toronto Raptors bring back one of the NBA’s better defensive units – one that has more than enough long wings to give the Bulls’ elite scorers some trouble. With that being the case, this should be the hardest test yet for Chicago’s new-look offense.
Does Patrick Williams rejoin the starting lineup? If not, does Donovan run a similar 10-man rotation to what we saw last game? This might be the most important question of the night.
Andre Drummond and Goran Dragic each looked way better in their second appearance. Can the two of them continue to establish a strong rapport and give the second unit a boost?
Speaking of the second unit, I’ll be very interested to see how Coby White follows up his 15-point showing. The Bulls were able to build quite an interesting lineup around the sparkplug scorer, allowing him to get out in transition and attack downhill. If he can start to finally show some consistency, that could prove huge for a Bulls that has been waiting for him to come into his own.
