Single Game Tickets for the 2015 Chicago Cubs Season Go on Sale March 6

Chicago Cubs

cubs let's goToday, the Chicago Cubs announced the plans for sales of single game tickets, which may be of a bit more interest this year than in recent years past. I can’t claim to know for sure that tickets this year will be much harder to come by, but I can say that when I got my Spring Training tickets this year, I had to do the virtual waiting room thing for a little while before I could get tickets. I can’t remember the last time that happened.

Single game tickets go on sale Friday, March 6 at 10am CT at, over the phone at 800-THE-CUBS, or at The Cubs Store (across Clark from Wrigley Field, but not available until Monday, March 9).

For online sales, the Cubs are opening the virtual waiting room at 9:30am CT, so if you have particular games you want to make sure and get (especially high-profile games), you may want to “arrive” early. Or maybe it won’t be an issue. I really don’t know, because it’s hard to project what demand is going to be like this year.

The Cubs are also doing their advance sale starting March 3 at 10am CT, lasting through the next day at 10pm CT. In the advance sale, if you’re willing to pay a 20% premium (or 15% if you use a MasterCard), you can get tickets early.

The full details on single game tickets can be found here.

Here’s a look at the Cubs’ promotional schedule (so far), to the extent it impacts your ticket planning:
