Although the third baseman known for his glove in last night’s game was probably Nolan something-or-other, Kris Bryant was the third baseman who made the best defensive play.
With the Cubs clinging to a one-run lead in the 8th inning, Bryant robbed a would-be Trevor Story double to keep that tying run off base and send the game to the 9th:

That just looks so smooth, especially for a huge dude. Sure, Bryant had an error in the game, but he also had a leaping stab of another would-be hit, so I’d call it a plus night on defense overall.
