Tonight, MLB Network will be airing a special on Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, aka, the night It Happened, aka, the Greatest Game in Baseball History.
The special comes complete with managers Terry Francona and Joe Maddon discussing the game:
“MLB Network hosts Bob Costas and Tom Verducci sit down with the two managers — marking the first time either former manager has watched any extended portion of the game — to discuss the key plays and moments, strategies and significance of a night that ended in the Cubs winning their first World Series title in 108 years (1908).”
That should make for a fascinating watch. Good way to finish up your wait for Chicago Cubs games to begin again (which they do tomorrow with the team’s Cactus League opener).
