Fantasy Football TE Rankings, Who Should I Add Off Waiver Wires:

Jake Ferguson (Cowboys), was the highest recommended TE waiver wire pickup this week.

Analysis

Arizona forced the Cowboys into a negative game script for the first time all year, and Ferguson responded with a season-high route rate (65%) and seven targets (18.9%), tied for the team lead with CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and Brandin Cooks.

Ferguson’s 26.1% target-per-route-run rate ranks fourth among 32 qualifiers at his position with 10 targets. He also leads Dallas with eight red zone targets.

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football TE Rankings?

Luke Musgrave (Packers) is one of the best tight end stashes ahead of Week 4.

Analysis

Luke Musgrave continues to be a mainstay in this article and likely will be until he passes our 40% threshold, which probably won’t happen until after the team’s Week 6 bye.

That’s perfectly fine for our purposes, as the rookie tight end continues to be used down the seams, even if he and quarterback Jordan Love haven’t connected on as many of those passes as we would like.

Musgrave caught 6-of-8 targets last week, though one of those was a deep, wide-open attempt from Love, marking at least twice that has happened through three weeks of 2023.

Musgrave currently ranks fourth (Kyle Pitts, Darren Waller, T.J. Hockenson) in air yards (172) at the position, and had he connected one of those two aforementioned deep plays; his rostership% would be much higher.

As it stands, he is available in 81% of Yahoo leagues, and he is set to take on a Lions team that allowed 18 targets to Atlanta Falcons tight ends in Week 3.
