2023 Outlook & Chiefs Training Camp Storylines
The Chiefs proved once again last season that any conversation about the top dog in the NFL starts in Kansas City. This season is no different. The Chiefs are the top team in a loaded AFC and a Super Bowl favorite again.
Chiefs Training Camp Storylines
Just stay healthy — As I said, the Chiefs are a machine right now. Staying healthy will be their biggest concern in camp this year. If they can do that, they’re a lock to win 12-plus games and the AFC West.
Bold Predictions
Patrick Mahomes will win another MVP Award — Just when you thought that Patrick Mahomes couldn’t get any better, he threw for a career-best 5,250 yards in 2022. Mahomes is on another planet. It’s his world, and every other QB is just living in it. Mahomes will win MVP Award No. 3 this season.
Isiah Pacheco will have 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards — I smell a big season coming for second-year running back Isiah Pacheco. I think he’s going to crack the 1,500 all-purpose yards mark for the Chiefs this season.
