SEC Tournament Preview: Odds, Schedule, Information & Predictions

News, Sports Betting

It just means more.

When is the SEC Tournament?

March the 8th through Sunday the 12th.

Where is the SEC Tournament played?

All games will be at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

How to watch the SEC Tournament

SEC Network early on with ESPN picking up the slack as we get to the weekend.

Who won the regular season title?

Alabama edged out Texas A&M for the SEC title with a record of 16-2 in league play.

Defending Champ

Tennessee ended Texas A&Ms run as the eight seed with a convincing win in the title game.

Who will participate

All 14 teams, seeded by conference record, with some tiebreakers thrown in.

How Many teams will the SEC send to the tournament?

Likely seven, but Mississippi State and Vanderbilt could push for an at-large spot here.

SEC Tournament Bracket

Like the other bigger conferences, we have double-byes for the top four with the rest waiting on Wednesday’s first round games. No reseeding, all games in Nash Vegas.

SEC Tournament Odds

Bama is second favorite to win the whole shebang this March and obviously a favorite here.

SEC Tournament Preview

Just another conference filled with elite teams and not a ton separating them. I will say that Bama and Tennessee are a cut above, but the next tier isn’t that far off and it’s like six deep. I’m short on time and I still need to bet some more golf tonight, so I’ll just fast forward to the team I ended up falling in love with here: the former Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas.

Buzz has the Aggies playing well, finishing the season off with wins over Tennessee and Alabama over the past few weeks. These aren’t just nice wins versus good conference foes, they are wins against two of the best defenses in the damn country. As usual, I love a team like Texas A&M that not only gets to the line, but makes their charity shots at a high clip.

SEC Tournament Prediction

I’ll take a poke at the Aggies with Tenny and Bama on the other side of the bracket at this price. 8-2 this season against the teams on their side of the bracket with the two losses on the road. They are riding high and get the double bye.
