Well, the NHL Taxi Squad anyway. On Wednesday, the Blackhawks announced Reichel’s recall along with a number of other moves.

Reichel will join the Taxi Squad, along with defenseman Nicolas Beaudin who returns to the Taxi Squad from the active roster. Goaltender Kevin Lankinen is out of COVID protocol along with defenseman Erik Gustafsson, they both return to the active roster. The Blackhawks still have four players and two staff members on COVID protocol, including Seth Jones, Brandon Hagel, Jake McCabe, and Sam Lafferty.
Along with these moves affecting the NHL roster, the Blackhawks assigned five players to the Rockford IceHogs, including goaltenders Cale Morris and Arvid Soderblöm, and forwards Kurtis Gabriel, Mike Hardman, and Josiah Slavin.
